Labels

Ok, so.....LABELS. Yeah, oh my where to begin. I was shopping in Soho yesterday and I spent lots of money on different stuff-I bought t-shirts, jeans, a skirt, scarves, jewelry, glasses etc. So I spent a couple hundred dollars and I bought about 10-15 items. Now when you think about it. The money I spent is barely a tenth of a Louis Vuitton purse or equal to the price of a Fendi KEYCHAIN. I know, that women-especially love labels. I got a huge knack for labels early on in my life and they will remain with me forever. I just want to send a message out there that labels mean only so much to the people around you-labels are for you. They are there to make you feel good, they are there to make you feel rich. And don't shake your head at the computer screen repeating the word NO over and over again in your head because you KNOW I'm right. And there is NOTHING wrong with that but I am just sending out a word of advice. If you can get authentic designer goods for 80% off then that is AMAZING-so splurge once in a while! Waste your money on something every half a year or so if it means there will be a permanent smile on your face for a month. But if you only make a good, solid amount of money...don't waste your time staring into shop windows when you know you don't even have the courage to go in because you know you will walk out empty handed. Some people do have the courage-I HAVE THE COURAGE because I believe someday I will become a model and I will be able to walk out with bags and bags with Gucci written all over them but meanwhile I just have to be smart. Let's face it-this is where Fashion is most clever. Let me let you in on a little secret...Chanel isn't ALWAYS....presentable.
